1) In the online business space for virtual events such as a summit like this, we expect an international audience. Many of our speakers, in particular the entrepreneurial and business oriented ones, have audiences that are international. USD is the standard and allows for consistency with payment processing. 

2) As an online business, the majority of our expenses are in USD. Our team is paid in USD, as is all of our software.
